I am a Second Grade teacher in my 22 year of service.  As most teachers, my kids are my life.  I teach because it's just what I do!  I feel that teaching is my calling.  There is nothing to top the "lightbulb" phenomenon.  I teach second grade because they are still young enough to love school but old enough to do most things on their own.
